STREET 50 Restaurant & Bar - A global flavours restaurant situated in a 4 star Hotel located opposite Vivo City. They offer diverse flavours from Italian, French and American to Vietnamese, Indonesian and Singaporean with interesting twists.

I'm so glad that they have hotpot on every Fri, Sat and Sun night too! What makes the hotpot here so special?

The hotpot here is served up in individual pots with unique designs of little dragons blanket in a sharp shade of royal blue and royal yellow. The pot was quite shallow so the broth needs to be refilled regularly. There were 4 selections of Premium Soup base to choose from! You're allowed to change your soup base here if you want to try other soup too. And.. They're extending their weekend hotpot buffet to 2am on Fridays and Saturdays! Good news for supper lovers - Sounds good right?

4 mouth-watering premium soup flavours to choose from:

1) Signature 5 hour-brewed Imperial Chicken broth
(Made rich by simmering chicken for hours in a cauldron (Must-Try!!!)

2) Tom Yum Broth - Really Spicy and Sour!

3) Sarawak Laksa Broth

4) Bakso Broth (Indonesian Beef Ball Soup) - A rare soup base (Very tasty, Must-Try too!)

Restaurant entrance

The sofa seats at this area were a little too low for the table.. Not very comfy..

There're alfresco seats too!

Smoked Peking Duck Roll Live Station

There is very nice Ngoh Hiang here besides the smoked peking duck roll! Too engrossed with the duck roll, forgotten to close up the Ngoh Hiang.. :P

With Leeks, Cucumbers & Hoisin Sauce. I really love their smoked peking duck roll here, the sauce was generous and the smoked duck was very very tasty!! Besides the premium soup, I think this is another attraction to come here. Haha! But it was finished around 8pm that day and was not replenished at the station. So grab this early!

Relish them with 12 different kinds of dips comprising of Coriander Chilli, Garlic Chilli, Belacan Chilli, Chilli Padi, Light Soy, Sesame Oil, Coriander Leaves, Chopped Garlic, San-Cha Sauce, Beancurd Paste, Chilli Oil and Garlic Oil.

Assorted Vegetables and Noodles

Beef Shabu

Beancurd Skin with Mushrooms

Fish Dumpling and Prawn Dumpling

Beef Ball and Pork Ball

Fried Beancurd Skin and Fresh Egg

Sotong Ball and Fish Ball

Tiger Prawn and Flower Crab

Clams and Blue Shell Mussel

Crabmeat Sticks and Fuzhou Meatball

Sliced Chicken and Chicken Franks

Yong Tau Foo and Pork Liver

Premium Chicken Broth Made rich by simmering chicken for hours in a cauldron (I must say so far this place serves the best soup after trying at different popular steamboat restaurants. The broth was thick after cooked for hours, very good and tasty - Must-Try!!!)

Additional Order - Durian Pengat ($8.00++)
Their popular dessert here! Luscious durian pulp cocooned in crepe laced with liquid gula Melaka. It was very creative and captivating to see durian pengat wrapped in crepe, with coconut flakes outside! Not forgetting the small little fruits aside, infused with some wine to enhance the fruit taste, super nice! How i wish they can put more fruits and wine....

Overall Impression: Service was very good! Plates were cleared and ice-water were refilled promptly but do understand sometimes the service will be a bit slow when the place is crowded.

The food selection was simple and nice. I must say so far this place has the best soup after trying at different popular steamboat restaurants!

Usually buffets will include desserts so it will be nice if they can include some desserts like pudding or ice-cream in the buffet to make it a complete meal.

Note: Their basement carpark is very small, try to arrive earlier for available lot. You can request for a complimentary carpark coupon here but subject to availability.
