Visited on 16th Aug 2014 (Sat). This is a new addition hidden gem cafe nestled in Serangoon area. It's at the last corner among the row of shophouses. Though the location is not very convenient, don't be surprised that you will see customers keep coming in specially by taxi or driving. What makes this place so popular?

Of course it's their bold food creation! So far this is the first cafe that can impress me as i usually find cafe food very boring. But here, most of the food are quite interesting that i think it's not common to find at other cafes. If you're those adventurous type, come & try their special food items here! Let's see the photos below!

Ample carpark space here during daytime. Not sure of night time..

I wonder why more & more cafes like to hang bicycle for display? LoL.. You will see many mini ladders on the ceiling too!

The cafe is more to Rustic feel... These are the few front seats..

And these are the seats behind, more for bigger groups...

The sliced cake counter..

Flat White - $5++
Love their flat white - Creamy, very aromatic and tasted good!

Smoked Salmon & Cheese Toast - $12.90++

Scramble eggs with smoked salmon & cream cheese served on a buttered toast with grilled tomatoes & tomato marmalade. My first time to see smoked salmon toast served on a pizza board, very unique style! They cut the toast into two pieces to place the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. The scrambled was a tad too creamy & it would be good if they can put in more smoked salmon and this will be perfect! A nice brunch though!

Bangkok Toast ($10.90++)

Cinnamon thick sweet brioche toast with matcha green tea custard, served with Thai milk tea ice-cream. This is their most popular dessert there that you have to order! I never expected that cinnamon, matcha and milk tea can blend together so well! I prefer the exterior of cinnamon toast than the interior as i find it more fragrant at the exterior. I dip the toast with the very very mild matcha taste custard and find it quite nice. The Thai milk tea ice-cream was fantastic to me, you can really taste the milk tea in ice-cream form! Heavenly matched dessert!

Baked Alaska ($10.90++)

Black sesame sponge cake and Matcha green tea ice-cream topped with Italian meringue and drizzle of cranberry glaze. The sesame sponge cake was quite hard and dry that ruined the whole taste. I don't really like the taste of this combination of black sesame and matcha in baked alaska so this dessert was out for me.

Do try their Roasted Duck Pancake with Garlic Hoisin Crispy Egg Pancake, heard that it's good too! Will try this at my next visit! :)

The food and dessert was quite good here. Service was average without any smile.. I think the staff were probably quite stressed to handle many early bird customers including me once they opened at 11am. Can you imagine the cafe was almost full within 30mins! The only disappointment is this cafe charged both 10% service charge and 7% GST as some small cafes they don't charge these.. Nevertheless, this will not stop me from visiting as long as they can create more special food!
